Built with passion

We are Ahri.Cloud

A self-hosted cloud platform built by developers, for people who would rather not hand their data to someone else. No managed cloud services, no tracking — just infrastructure we understand end to end.

Our story

From one server in a closet

Ahri.Cloud started as a personal learning project in 2018. Frustrated by privacy trade-offs and vendor lock-in from the big cloud platforms, we set out to build something different.

What began as a single machine in a closet grew into a distributed setup across several locations. Some of it sits in our own racks; the rest is dedicated bare metal we rent outright, plus provider IP bridges and tunnels for routing. We are the only ones with root on any of it.

What we do not do is rent managed services. No hosted database holding your records, no proprietary platform to be migrated off later — the stack is ours from the operating system up.

Every service we offer is something we use ourselves daily. We dogfood everything, because our own data is on the line too.

Our values

What we stand for

Four principles that decide what we build and what we refuse to build.

Privacy first

Privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature tier. All data stays on our self-hosted infrastructure and is never sold or shared.

Open source

We build on open-source technology and contribute back to the community that powers everything we run.

Passion driven

Built by a small team that uses these tools every single day. If something is annoying, we feel it first.

Independent

No reliance on managed cloud platforms. We administer every machine ourselves, which keeps control over cost, uptime and roadmap with us.

Team

Meet the team

Small, opinionated, and reachable without a ticket queue.
